We recommend all runners and walkers carry Emergency ID on the course.  Runners ID

Food  and beverages provided. Enjoy the music, the  bounce houses and our  Expo area which features local businesses and active lifestyle products.

Capital Road Race Management.


  • Top 3 finishers in each age group (men & women)  5 year increments.
  • All 5K finishers receive a medal.
  •  Kids fun run finishers receive a finishers ribbon. 
  • 12K finishes get a medal (limited to 600 participants)
  • Half Marathon Finishers get a Super Run the Rock Medal (limited to 400 Participants).

Position  Responsibilities  When?

Course Marshals
Direct runners, walkers, spectators, cars at intersections throughout the courses (5K/12K/Half)
Race Day

Registration & Packet Pick-Up
Assist in directing and distributing race packets and assisting in registration.  Rocklin Community Center in

Johnson-Springview Park.

Friday & Saturday before event

Race Day - Early Morning

Finish Line Assistants
Greet finishers, distribute water, and hand out finisher ribbons and medals.

Course Spirit
Strategically placed around the course to cheer on runners, provide directions, be alert for any problems or emergencies.
Race Day

Water Stations
Community  groups are asked to manage each water station by handing out water and  fluids to the  participants, picking up trash after the event.
